I must add, boys, not men. I can’t speak for all men, but I don’t judge books by their covers, nor people. I don’t really care all to much about appearances, not even myself, in fact I don’t remember the last time I looked at myself in a mirror, my beard must be pretty grizzly by now, I haven’t trimmed in like 3 months. The point is the people who judge other people based on outside appearances are most likely too busy looking at themselves to even worry about anyone else. It’s true these people (I’ll say people because I know quite a few ladies who do the same) most likely do the same with books, now just think of all the unappealing dusty looking books out there, these people are missing out on all these personas, adventures, excitement, and great stories. They refuse to look past people’s appearance to write their own stories with them. What I’m really trying to say here is if a boy (or anyone for that matter) dismisses you based solely on appearance, than they really aren’t worth getting to know.
sorry had to say it
